5-Week Onsite Class- Our Construction Essentials class prepares you for a career in the Construction Industry. The 5-week class is held quarterly (4 times a year).
During the 5-week class, you will work extensively with hand tools and power tools and receive professional-level training from a certified instructor.
You must meet the following criteria to be eligible:
Be legal to work in the United State
Able to attend a 5-week onsite class in Tallahassee or Panama City , Florida (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM)
Ready and willing to interview with local employers and work in the Construction Industry
The curriculum for the class includes:
Employability Skills
Worksite Safety
Construction Math
Construction Drawings
Hand tools
Power tools
Material handling.
At the end of the course you will:
Earn a Nationally Recognized OSHA 10 Credential
Earn a Nationally Recognized Construction Core Credential from NCCER
Interview with local employers from a variety of construction fields
Graduates are qualified for the following entry-level positions in the Construction Industry:
