Task 2: Complete the Danielson Teacher Performance and Growth Plan survey. (Keep a copy of the survey that will come to you via email.)
The Danielson Framework for (Remote) Teaching is a system developed by Charlotte Danielson used for teacher development. It is also used as a formative tool to develop teacher practice.
The main purposes of the Danielson Framework for (Remote) Teaching at Gulliver is the foundation:
for reflective conversations among practitioners as they seek to enhance their skill in the complex task of teaching
Each teacher at Gulliver participates in the Danielson process. In early 2022, all faculty members were re-introduced to the new, more streamlined Danielson Framework, and were invited to complete a reflection and growth survey. These surveys continue to be the baseline for the expanded Danielson process at Gulliver.
The landing page for the Danielson framework @Gulliver webpage can be found here. All materials for new to Gulliver teachers can be found on the "new to Gulliver" tab on the Danielson website.
