Instructional materials provide intellectual content which serve as a tool for delivering instruction in a given subject area or grade level. 

• Instructional materials can: 

  • be circulated by a campus library and act as a shared resource for the entire school (i.e. newspaper subscriptions, library books, database subscriptions, etc.)

  • be classroom or course specific and are designed to be used by an individual student for a finite period of time. (i.e. a textbook, a novel, a workbook, a license to a subscription like NoRedInk or Handwriting without Tears)
