We have created and collected a lot of content to help you teach creatively and collaboratively in a variety of formats, including the following:

What we do

The Learning Design and Development Team’s mission is to cultivate a culture of innovation and curiosity through meaningful engagements in both physical and virtual environments. To that end, we encourage and support the application of technology, the creation of novel teaching and learning environments, and the use of open educational resources (OERs). We work with instructors across campus to design and develop courses, assignments, assessments, and more, all with a focus on information literacy and digital competency.

We manage learning spaces, such as the Collaboratory, the Learning Glass Studio, the Leak Room, and the Ideation Lab, and work with instructors in those spaces to further our mission. We also manage the STARS Desk and the Folio Studio where student mentors help their peers develop search skills, information evaluation skills, and tech skills.
