Welcome back!
Take HON 200: Fantastic Journeys; commit to a major (or two)
HON 200: Fantastic Journeys is a required course offered every year in the Spring 3-week session. Honors students should take it as a sophomore, however, if there is a conflict, you can take it at the start of your junior year. The course is focused on fantastic journeys of some sort, and acts as a metaphor for students' entire educational experience. It is taught by various faculty and thematized according to their expertise.
The course includes 5-9 days of travel, either abroad or domestic, covered by your typical tuition and room/board fees (occasionally there might be ~$100 fee for extra travel expenses; off-campus students pay ~$500 for the trip).
HON 200 may count toward your major, if special arrangements are made in advance. Otherwise, it counts as an elective toward graduation and the Honors Program. This is a 4 credit course, taken for a grade, and limited only to Honors Program students. If you have a conflict, check with H2 for an exemption or substitution.
