Mandatory-meetings are typically held once a semester. You are strongly encouraged to attend other Honors-sponsored events,
like the "Dinner & Discussions" held twice-each semester on a Monday night in Gilmer (Caf), or our Spring hike at Hanging Rock.
Honors Dinner & Discussions
They are a great way to nourish your mind and body.
This year's theme is "listening with love." In a crazy election year and world filled with lots of shouting, we share a commitment to practice listening with love.

Sept 23 - Dr. Kristen Hairston (WFU) will talk about telling patients bad news and listening through their fear/frustration
Oct 28 - Brennan Aberle (alum!) will talk about being a criminal defense lawyer and helping juries get past their biases
