Garden Club

The Garden Club is an extracurricular program that meets after school and allows students to learn and participate in gardening, as well as to help students develop knowledge and increased awareness of nutrition and environmental conservation. Topics that the club will explore over the course of each year will include among the following:

● How to plan and grow an organic garden

● How to harvest and market fresh produce

● How to use fresh produce in meal planning and preparation

● Volunteer/Community service initiatives

● Participation in guest speaker presentations

● Collaboration between students of various levels of knowledge and skill Any Guilderland High School student can participate in the Garden Club.
