The Valhalla Jazz Band is a dynamic ensemble that meets once a week after school for a two-hour rehearsal. This course provides students with the opportunity to explore and perform a variety of jazz styles, from traditional to contemporary. Through ensemble playing, students will develop their improvisation skills, enhance their understanding of jazz theory, and refine their performance techniques. The band performs at school events and community functions, offering students the chance to showcase their talent and collaborate in a creative musical environment.
