The view of a resource varies depending on what information is available and has been provided for the database. But, in general, below are some things to note.
When clicking on a search result link in eLibrary, you should land on the “Full text” tab.
If you see an "Abstract," just know this is an academic term for "summary."
Look for the "Full Text" heading to read the actual text content.
When available, there may be a Full text – PDF tab for a print-formatted version.
On the Abstract and/or Details tab, find information about the article. Hyperlinked subject terms might be helpful!
Regardless of what tab you're on, notice the tools in the top-right corner to download, cite, email, and print the content.
To access an automatically generated citation for a resource, click on the Cite button.
From the pop-up "Cite" window, select the appropriate citation style from the drop-down menu.
Then, copy-and-paste the citation into your document.
NOTE: These citations often imperfect and need to be fixed slightly once pasted. Refer to the OWL guide for more guidance.
