Changes During the Season

Elevator

The elevator went from Vex chains to surgical tubing to #20 chain. We changed programming on the servo and added walls and zip ties to slow the blocks down.

Color Sensor

We added color sensors to the robot and created HSV code that worked. We, however, could not get a consistent range to make and use in autonomous.

Claw

We built a claw. We got it work in practice, but it was inconsistent, so we removed it for the game.

Iterations Moving Forward

Develop Mecanum drive prototype to learn how to program and drive the Meanum system.

Build a belt-driven conveyor to build skills.

Build a pully drive linear actuator to build skills.

Build out this website to develop engineering habits and best practices, documenting our journey.
