Box Butte County Fair Parade

The Box Butte County Fair hosts a Parade in Hemingford, Nebraska. It is typically the last Saturday of the Fair and takes place at 10am.

Hemingford Public Schools typically hosts band camp during the beginning of August to prepare band members in grades 6-12 to march in the Parade.

5th Graders are invited to help carry the Band Banner.

If you are only able to make it to 1 or 2 practices, you are still able to participate in the parade. Please discuss your circumstances with Mrs. Arneson to help your student make the most of their time.

If you are a student who plays a woodwind or brass instrument and wants to learn more about percussion or another instrument, Band camp is the perfect time to do this. Please let Mrs. Arneson know ahead of time to ensure enough instruments are brought out of storage.
