The Panhandle Conference Includes the schools from Hemingford, Edgemont, Crawford, Hay Springs, Hyannis, Morrill, and Sioux County.
Each Fall the Panhandle Conference hosts either a Band Clinic or a Choral Clinic. Any student in grades 7-12 may participate in the clinic if they have permission from their instructor. The clinic is currently organized by the Hay Springs Music Teacher, Raime Varvel.
Each Spring the Panhandle Conference hosts a Music Contest that is to serve as a practice for District Music Contest. Students are given ratings between 1-5 with 1 being the best. Students are also given special awards such as "Best Brass Solo" or "Best Vocal Solo".
