Chadron State College

Chadron State College Offers a Variety of Music Related activities.

Regular opportunities include:

Attending the Homecoming Football Game (typically in October). This is open to 7-12 Band Members. CSC Football Game admission is free for those who attend with the HPS Band.

Auditioning and Attending the High Plains Honor Band and Choir Festival (typically first Monday and Tuesday in February). This event is for students in grades 9-12. Some of the audition music stays the same each year and some of it changes each year. Students who participate will give a concert in late afternoon/early evening on the last day of the event. The concert is open to the public.

Audition Information will be available through CSC.

Please ensure your CSC High Plains audition is approved by Mrs. Arneson by November 4th to guarantee it is submitted prior to the deadline.

Attending a Percussion Clinic (typically after school on a Friday in April or May). This event is run by the CSC percussion instructor and is open to grades 5-12 Percussion Students.
