Vi har en sosiokulturell tilnærming til læring:
Learning is a social endeavour, positive relationships facilitate learning, and so learning environments should be community-oriented. The brain is primed to relate to others and learn from them (Hinton and Fischer: “Learning from the developmental and biological perspective” in The Nature of Learning, Dumont et al, OECD 2010).
English version:
We have a socio-cultural approach towards learning. Learning happens through interaction:
«Learning is a social endeavour, positive relationships facilitate learning, and so learning environments should be community-oriented. The brain is primed to relate to others and learn from them “(Hinton and Fischer: “Learning from the developmental and biological perspective” in The Nature of Learning, Dumont et al, OECD 2010).
In our organization we regard everybody as learners, both employees and students. The way we organise learning activities must give room for teamwork. In teamwork, everybody has the same status, and has a mutual respect for the views of others and their worth as humans.
Nordahl Grieg vgs has a lot of great partners, which gives invaluable contributions to our development. We pursue cooperation with persons, learning environments and businesses that will help us learn. We encourage and help our students to seek learning partners outside of school, and we use technology to facilitate teamwork across borders and cultures.
