BackyardBio is a project run by Exploring By The Seat of Your Pants encouraging the public, and especially classrooms to get out in nature observing and documenting the amazing wildlife near them!

Students in Glencoe participated in the Backyard Bio Project and learned that there are some endangered plants in our area.

There are three ways to take part

1. On INaturalist! Sharing photos from around the world as part of a global dataset/leaderboard of awesome naturalists!

2. On Twitter, with #backyardbio and tagging us @ebtsoyp to highlight what you've found!

3. And through direct classroom connections - register at backyardbio.net and partner your full classroom with three others from around the world to facilitate direct connections and foster some friendly competition!
