FIT India Plogging Run - October 1, 2019

Facts and figures were shared with the students highlighting how plastic has become a major source of pollution and how it is impacting our biodiversity. Students took a pledge to completely shun the use of single-use plastic.

Drawing competition was also conducted on the theme 'Single-use Plastic and its Hazards'. A lot of zest and zeal was seen in the students.

To spread further awareness among the masses, students, teachers, parents and volunteers gathered early morning in the school premises to conduct the FIT India Plogging Run on October 2, 2019. They all jogged on the Janakpuri Marg, a stretch of 2 kilometers, picking up plastic waste and distributing pamphlets to bring awareness in the neighbourhood.

Plogging Run was carried out in full spring promoting 'FIT India and Clean India' movement. This initiative was highly appreciated by the residents of the vicinity.
