A school with the right environment goes a long way in shaping the life of a student. Tremendous effort and sacrifice is involved in establishing and maintaining a high quality institution. In the days when Janakpuri was taking shape very few facilities were available, farsighted Mr. T. P. Aggarwal visualized the need of an Educational Institution in this area. An institution which made its humble beginning more than 3 decades ago which today stands high with the reputation and glorious record for high quality education and with a student strength of about 3000 and a faculty strength of 150. Toil, goodwill & struggle of many people have gone into its making. The school is affiliated to the CBSE Board and runs classes from I to XII. Founded by Rönesans Holding and Rönesans Education Foundation in cooperation with the Turkish Education Association (TED), TED Rönesans College opened its doors to students for the first time in the 2014-2015 academic year. The College was established in Küçükyalı, İstanbul with an investment of TL 38 million and a capacity of 1,200 students.Built on an area of 20,000 m2, TED Rönesans College utilizes 50 percent of its total area for activities and 20 percent for green spaces. With an indoor area of 11,804 m2 and an outdoor playground of 7.689 m2, the College offers all that is necessary for the academic and social development of its students. The school opened in 1967. It includes an attached freshmen wing (Freshmen Center) which opened in 1994. The current high school succeeded Dyer Central High School. The Dyer Central Building became the building for Kahler Middle School which is still part of the Lake Central School Corporation. The Dyer Central building was demolished in 1993–94 as part of renovations made to Kahler Middle school. Some Lake Central students and faculty were the subject of an October 20, 2012, Wall Street Journal front-page article on their collective work to track down and document Indiana's battle casualties.
