Daily quiet time is basically spending time with God once per day. Ways you can spend time with God are reading the Bible, taking time to pray to God, and spending more time in church. You should have daily quiet time so that you can connect with God better. It could be easier to have daily quiet time by turning on some music quietly.
Daily quiet time could help you by encouraging you, if you are having a bad day, then you can read the bible and there are plenty of verses in the bible with encouraging meanings. If you feel powerless then it could help you feel like you are a more than powerless and that anything you do can do a lot.

When you are depressed you should always spend some time with yourself,you should think what are those things which make you happy, who are those people who make you happy, who make you feel important don't only think what makes you happy but also think what makes you unhappy and who make you unhappy try to avoid those people as much as you stay away from those people you will see a change in your life further you will start staying happy and see the changes in you,you will feel confident about yourself.
Best way is talking to yourself look at the mirror and look at yourself now don't search about the things which are bad in you search for things which you are good in and think how to make them your strength. Whenever you get distracted to the things which are not good in you just because you are bad in something which makes you feel uncomfortable then try to overcome that.
"You can always overcome your problems but the only reason to overcome those is to face them there is always a way out!!"
