The foundation for Modern Public School was laid in the year 1971 by Modern Public School Education Society with the admitted objective of serving the cause of education in the NCT of Delhi, particularly in Shalimar Bagh and surrounding areas. It had a humble beginning in a residential building in Ashok Vihar and it is heartening to note that, the school has a successful track record in imparting education since 1971.
