Work 1:1 with whaea on your Pōwhiri recount. Use our word lists and the translation to help turn your recount into te reo Māori. Make sure you copy and paste the text first so you keep a version in English.
Begin whakapapa Assessment try and finish this term. It should only take one hour.

1: Word list: Words and sentences for the week - write them down in your pukapuka. Then write them down in the order they would happen in a pōwhiri.

Tuesday: Mau Rākau wananga.
Wednesday: Whakataukī lesson - will be a relief teacher running this, please take it seriously. I want to see the outcomes. You all know the importance of whakataukī in Te Ao Māori.
Thursday: Mahi with Mr Toki.
Friday: Nō hea ahau - Te wero: 30 mins to find the answers, then share back to class. Last chance to finish Pōwhiri assessment.

Year 12 - Tiana - Mara Kai - it is time to get back to this assessment and get it done.

Please be at school by 8.40 for roll call and then we will head to JPH2 for the day to learn Mau Rākau, kapahaka and Pōwhiri concepts with Matua Jerry and Whaea Paula. Please focus on completing your mahi this week.
