Tardy Policy 

Students must be in the classroom when the bell rings. 

Tardies reset at the beginning of each nine weeks.

Students who miss more than half of the class period will be counted as absent for the class period instead of tardy. 

The following are acceptable as "Excused Tardy":

Medical Appointment (must have note from doctor)

Court Appearance (note from court summons)

Administrative Approval 

Consequences for unexcused tardies:

 1st -3rd Offense (Warning)

 4th Offense  (ISS for one block)

 5th Offense (1 Full day of ISS)

 6th-7th (2 Full days of ISS)

 8th (1 day OSS)

9th and Beyond  

(OSS and possibly revoking driving privileges for student drivers)
