The use of AI tools (including ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar platforms) on any graded assignment may result in an automatic grade of 0, due to plagiarism. This includes using AI to generate essay responses or produce any content submitted as the student's own work.
This policy prioritizes the development of critical thinking, reading comprehension, and writing skills—essential for success in high school and beyond. When students complete their own work, they strengthen analytical thinking, build confidence in their writing voice, develop problem-solving strategies, master content, and prepare for high school coursework and standardized assessments.
