STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

• FCA will be meeting this Wednesday in the aux gym at 7:45 am.

• The German Honor Society is hosting a Socktoberfest sock drive! We are collecting new socks, knitted hats, gloves/mittens, sweatshirts, and sweatpants to donate to the Greenville Miracle Hill Rescue Center. These items will help those in need during the upcoming chilly weather. Donations can be dropped off in the T-Mall or in Frau Fowler's room, L107. Donations will be collected through the end of the month.

• German Club will have its next meeting this Wednesday after school in room L107 with Frau Fowler. We will be focusing on the rise and fall of the Berlin Wall! Please see Frau Fowler with questions.

• If you are interested in joining the Rock Band Club please come to an interest meeting on Tuesday 10-20 in Mr. Duffey's room, after school at 4pm.  Thanks, we look forward to seeing you next Tuesday!

• Greenville County School District invites you to participate in celebrating America's 250th anniversary. Students can express their ideas through essay, poetry, artwork, photography, speech, song, or dance. Entries are due by Friday, October 30th. Winners will receive a prize! If you have any questions please see Ms. Powell in G114.

• Silent Book Club is a global community of readers with nearly 2000 chapters in 55+ countries. There's no assigned reading — it's bring your own book, meet other readers for a social hour, and then settle in to read. You can read on your Kindles, listen to your audiobooks, or even bring your assigned class text. We would love to have you join us! See Ms. McGee, Dr. Wagner, or Ms. Webb to join our informational Google Classroom, or come read with us on Tuesdays before or after school!
