STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Seal of Biliteracy
Please fill out this form if you are interested in taking the Seal of Biliteracy this spring. You must be a junior or senior, and you must have taken or currently be in Spanish 4 or higher (or level 4 of the language you are taking the test for). You are also eligible if you speak Spanish or another language fluently outside of school (i.e. native or heritage speaker). DEADLINE IS FEBRUARY 13TH.
The test is available in Spanish, French, German, and many other languages. See me for details.
You will need your STATE ID/SUN number. You can get this from your teacher or guidance counselor.
Attention junior girls! Palmetto Girls State applications are now open. This is a great leadership opportunity for rising seniors interested in government, leadership, and civic engagement. Applications are due no later than Thursday, February 19th. Please see Mrs. Logan for more information or to pick up an application.
After School Football Workouts will begin at 4pm in the weightroom on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. Anyone wanting to participate must have a valid Physical on file. Please contact HC Matt Rochester in the gym area, send me an email mrochester@greenville.k12.sc.us
German Club will have its next meeting on Tuesday, February 10th after school in room L107 with Frau Fowler. Be ready to compete in our Gummy Bear Olympics to win a grand prize! See Frau Fowler with questions.
Support Riverside High School and Special Olympics! Mrs. Miller will be taking the Polar Plunge as part of a fundraiser benefiting the Special Olympics, with a portion of the funds coming back to support our special education program. Check out the flyers around the school for the donation link and come cheer her on at the plunge!
Virtual Enterprise will be selling biscuits in the T-mall every Wednesday morning.
