Parking Lot Renovation
Riverside High School's main parking lot is undergoing a renovation for the 2024-25 school year. Please see the attached graphic as it is updated with the area in which parking needs to occur. Please be patient as the renovation is "fluid" and we will keep the community updated with the most up-to-date information. For at least the next two weeks (July 10-24), all non-visitor parking should take place in the parking lot marked with the green arrow. This parking lot is typically referred to as the "Senior Lot". Please enter the parking lot using the gate marked with the number "2". If that gate is locked, please use the gate marked with the number "3". There should be no parking behind the school next to the football stadium. Please do not use the visitor parking spaces off of Hammett Bridge Road unless you are visiting the school. Once the construction is complete, we will communicate the new traffic pattern. Thank you for your help during this renovation process. Â This is to improve student safety. This renovation will occur throughout the summer, and is scheduled to be finished by the end of July.Â

2024-25 Back to School Orientation
Riverside High School will host Back to School Orientation for the 2024-25 School Year on the following dates and times. Parents do not need to attend orientation:
Monday, August 5
Freshman Class - 9:00-11:30 a.m. (Freshmen are required to stay the entire time; Parents do not need to attend)
Senior Class - 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Junior Class - 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Sophomore Class - 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Orientation Makeup Date: Wednesday, August 7 (10-12:00 p.m.)
Open House: Monday, August 19 (6-8 p.m.)
Student Parking Pass Information
Riverside High School will begin selling parking passes for the 2024-25 school year on July 15. Passes will be completely sold online and will be sold to Seniors from July 15-18. The Google Form will be pushed out through Backpack and will be live on the school's website at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 15.Â
Members of the Junior Class will be able to begin purchasing parking passes on July 22. Any Junior that submits their order early will be denied and will have to repeat the steps on July 22.Â
Students will need PDF copies of their license, registration, and insurance to complete the Google Form for purchasing.

New Greenville County Dress Code
Dress Code - Parents and Guardians, In an effort to increase alignment in discipline and dress code practices between schools and to provide more consistency and clarity for parents and students, we are providing the attached flier for guidance. These dress code specifications and violation consequences are in effect for the 2024-25 school year.Â
