Ceramics 3 Honors

Course Description:

In this third level course, you will be reintroduced to the discipline of ceramic arts through the deeper exploration of techniques, skills, and styles. Ceramics as a business and lifestyle will be the primary focus in this class. We will learn about more ceramics artists and ourselves as artists as we begin to develop our personal styles. The art that we will create will be three- dimensional in sculptural and functional work. We will learn more advanced techniques in hand building with clay as well as throwing on the wheel.
