You will receive an invitation from your school counselor via email with your schedule appointment time + date! Some will be second semester, so if you haven't received an email yet don't panic :)

Students will be registered for their classes next year during their IGP meeting. It is IMPERATIVE that you take time to explore all course options in the GHS 10-12 Course Catalog linked below PRIOR to your IGP meeting.

It is highly recommended you plan and write down the classes you would like to take to bring to your meeting. This way the entirety of the IGP does not revolve around picking classes and we can discuss other important information with you!

Your counselor will email you a copy of your course requests once all Freshmen IGPs are completed. This will most likely be during 2nd semester.
Our goal is to have every student be either College or Career Ready (CCR) upon graduation from high school. Please see the State Requirements below to become CCR.

Meeting at least one of the following criteria makes you
“COLLEGE Ready"
Receive 6 hours of Dual Enrollment course work with a C or higher
Score a 3 or higher on at least 1 AP exam
Meet state benchmark of 1020 on SAT or 20 on ACT

“CAREER Ready”
Complete a CTE pathway AND certification
Earn 3+ on the WIN Work Ready test (taken Junior year)
Earn a 31 or higher on the ASVAB assessment
Complete a state-approved work-based learning experience

English I, II+ III, 3 Math, 2 Science, 2 Social Studies
8 Elective Credits

Every student in their 3rd year of high school will have the opportunity to take either the SAT OR ACT at no cost during a school day in the Winter/ Spring.
