Adelaide Fackler (Director):  

Mrs. Fackler grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and went to college at Furman University where she majored in Psychology and French. After graduation, she moved to Colorado for a year and then returned home to go to graduate school at the University of Alabama. She completed her Masters in Counselor Education and then moved to Orlando with her husband, Leo. They returned to Greenville in 2008 and she began working for the Greenville County Virtual School and Twilight School. In 2009, she was fortunate to join the Greenville High family.  She was the junior counselor for 6 years and is beginning her 12th year as Director of School Counseling. She has two sons- Davis (15) and James (12), and a daughter, Grace (6). 

Jennifer Binder (Career Development): 

Mrs. Binder grew up in Aiken, South Carolina and attended Clemson University for both her undergrad and Master's degrees.  Clemson is also where she met her husband, Chris.  They have been married for 22 years and have three children.  Ellis just graduated from Greenville High, Kathryn is an 10th grader at Greenville High Academy, and Caroline is a 7th grader at League Academy.  She taught middle school for two years and has had several roles in the school counseling department including the freshman counselor and senior counselor.  This will be her 24th year at Greenville High! 

Courtney Garrett (Last Names A-C):  

Ms. Garrett was born and raised in Simpsonville, South Carolina and attended Greenville County Schools. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Presbyterian College before completing her graduate degree in School Counseling from Liberty University. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Manning, and together they have two daughters, Waverly and Cora. This is her fifth year as a school counselor and her first year with the Greenville High family. In her free time, Ms. Garrett enjoys reading, traveling, and crafting. 

Becky Stone (Last Names D-He):

Mrs. Stone was born and raised in Roswell, GA and attended Furman University for undergrad. She and her husband Ryan have been married for 21 years and have 3 kids - Will is a high school graduate, John just graduated from Wade Hampton HS, and Emily in in 9th grade at Wade Hampton. She holds Master's Degrees from Converse College and Arkansas State University, as well as National Board Certification. Mrs. Stone spent 19 years teaching Honors and AP History at Dorman High School, Travelers Rest High School and Riverside High School before moving into School Counseling. She is starting her 5th year in her counseling career at Greenville High!  

Jamie Wier (Last Names Hi-Ma): 

Mrs. Wier grew up in Peachtree City, GA, and went to college at the University of Georgia (go Dawgs!), where she majored in Psychology. Following her undergraduate education, she moved to Atlanta for her masters and specialist degrees at Georgia State University. After starting her counseling career in Atlanta, she and her husband, Garrison, moved to Denver, CO, and Seattle, WA. After being away from home for six years, she moved back to the southeast in 2021 to join Greenville High and lay down roots with her husband and dog, Goose. She now has a 3 year-old girl named Reynolds, a 1 year-old named Mac and a puppy named Duck. This is her 6th year with the Greenville High family and her 14th year counseling high school students. 

Margaret Parsons (Last Names Mc-R):  

Mrs. Parsons is originally from Georgia and went to the University of Georgia where she majored in Psychology.  After working in the mental health field for two years in Charlotte, NC, she moved to Charleston and pursued her graduate degree in school counseling at the Citadel.  Mrs. Parsons and her husband Mark welcomed their first baby, Hank, in October 2023 and a baby girl, Maggie, in March 2026. This is her 11th year at Greenville High School as a counselor.  

Erica Brewster (Last Names S-Z):

Mrs. Brewster grew up in Greenville, SC and attended Greenville County Schools. She received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from South Carolina State University, her MBA from Southern Wesleyan and received her second masters and education specialist degree in School Counseling from Clemson University. This is her 2nd year as a school counselor. She previously taught high school and an was adjunct professor for 14 years. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family, bake desserts and plan weddings & events. She loves football and is a HUGE fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers....She and her husband Cedric have two sons: Dylan and Dakota. 

Theresa Neuer (Special Projects/504 Coordinator): 

Mrs. Neuer grew up in Coral Springs, Florida and attended Palm Beach Atlantic University for her undergraduate degree in psychology and her graduate degree in counseling psychology. She has been a school counselor since 2005 and has worked in elementary, middle and high school. She and her husband moved to Greenville in 2010. They have 2 children - Justin, who is in 3rd grade and Sofia who is in 7th grade. In her free time you will find her spending time with friends and family and hiking mountains.
