Course Syllabus

Video Production is a semester-long, 8th grade introduction to visual storytelling and media-making. Because this is a developing course, projects may be refined as equipment, student needs, and production opportunities become clear. Instruction will be grounded in the South Carolina Media Arts standards and will emphasize ideas, collaboration, production technique, ethical media use, and reflection.

Students are currently working on their scripts and storyboards for their first film while creating a collaborative 9/11 Memorial project.
