Dance education in Greenville County Schools offers students a dynamic and enriching experience that fosters creativity, discipline, and self-expression. Dance is offered at select elementary, middle, and high schools, and is taught by certified, highly skilled dance educators.

Through a comprehensive curriculum aligned with the South Carolina Dance Standards, students explore various dance styles including ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, and cultural dance forms. In addition to technique and performance, instruction includes choreography, dance history, and the study of dance as an expressive art form.
