At Boeing, we’ve invested over $125 million in education and charitable initiatives since 2010 to inspire and prepare students for STEM careers. Just as athletes celebrate college signing days, we believe STEM students should receive the same recognition.
The 10th annual SC STEM Signing Day is that opportunity. Boeing, BMW, Michelin, Nucor, SC Future Makers, and the SC Manufacturers and Commerce will honor two students from each South Carolina county who plan to pursue a STEM career. Like athletic signing days, students will sign a letter of intent to attend a two- or four-year STEM program after high school.
Selected students will be recognized on April 29, 2026, at the USC Alumni Center and the South Carolina State House alongside elected officials, business leaders, and community supporters.
How to Apply:
Any South Carolina high school senior graduating in 2026 can apply. To do so, students must create an account on Tallo, an online platform connecting students with opportunities. After creating an account, they can complete the short application by March 13, 2026.
Please review the attached information or visit [https://tallo.com/sc-stem-signing-day-2026-application/] for more details.
Scholarship Opportunity and Recognition Ceremony for Juniors!
Fountain Inn High School has the opportunity to nominate two students from our Junior class to apply for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Student of Integrity Award, worth $1000. This award is designed to recognize students who personify high character through leadership, community service, academic achievement, and overall personal integrity.
Students who would like to be considered for nomination should complete the google form linked below by Thursday March 26. Submissions will be reviewed by a scholarship panel, and two students will be chosen to represent FIHS. The nominated students will then complete a Student of Integrity Award Application packet, which will be due on Monday April 13. Students who are chosen by the BBB as award recipients will be recognized at the BBB's Annual Celebration of Ethics in November 2026. Recognized students must be present at the celebration in order to receive their award.
