The Greenville MLK Unity Weekend Committee invites students to participate in our 2026 Unity Career and College Expo.  This year our title sponsor is the Chapman Foundation and we are excited to bring everyone in the community together and provide opportunities!

The Unity Career and College Expo is open to students, recent graduates, and their families.  We are elated to provide even more opportunities in 2026 with four events in ONE! The Unity College and Career Expo, "The Dream" Live Exhibit and Tribute to MLK, The E.E. McClaren Institution for Health & Wellness Community Resource Day, and Reflections of the Dream Oration are all happening on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 1:00pm – 6:00pm at the University Center of Greenville at McAlister Square. The Unity Weekend continues to grow as a powerful celebration of education, culture, and community. That is where you come in, can we count on you to participate?

Here are the top highlights from the past few years:

📚 Expanding Educational Impact

• Nearly $500,000 in scholarships awarded during the Scholarship Gala, opening doors for countless students.

🏀 Showcasing HBCU Excellence

• 16 HBCU men’s and women’s basketball programs participated with a full basketball tournament, Battle of the Bands, and a vibrant Stomp Fest.

🎓 Career & College Opportunities

• The Career & College Expo connected students with 60 corporate and university partners, reinforcing pathways to education and employment.
