Fine Arts Center
Students at the Fine Arts Center are interested in the arts and wish to take an intensive pre-professional program of study. Students apply and are selected on the basis of skill, interest, and commitment to their discipline. 91.5% of the students go on to higher education. Each graduating class of Fine Arts Center students has averaged over $10 million in scholarship offers in recent years.
Fine Arts Center classes offer advanced comprehensive arts instruction in the areas of architecture, theatre, dance, visual arts, music, creative writing, or filmmaking. Classes at the Fine Arts Center are in session five days a week, in the morning or afternoon, and students receive academic instruction from their home high school.
Greenville County School District students may attend the Fine Arts Center tuition free. We also offer reliable transportation to and from every GCS high school. We actively work to expand access to arts education for students who live in communities where exposure and resources are limited. We raise funds through our nonprofit, the Fine Arts Center Partners, that go directly to students within our community and cover anything from class fees to field trip expenses.
Please go to https://www.fineartscenter.net/admissions/ for an overview of the admissions process.
Our APPLY page has specific instructions for students.
Please note that we have moved to a different system for applications, as we are no longer using GCS Special Focus. Everything will be done through the Accepted program via this website - https://app.getacceptd.com/fineartscenter.

CTE Innovation Center
What makes us Innovative?
We are the first in the state to offer an Emerging Automotive Research program, and one of the few that offers Aerospace Technology, Cybersecurity/Networking, Clean Energy Technology, and Automation Robotics.
Students will have the opportunity to learn in flexible spaces that mimic post-secondary education and the industry atmosphere.
Our center is designed and with adaptability in mind. As programs grow and economic needs shift, programs may be pushed out to other schools and centers and replaced with additional innovative programs.

Students from all 15 GCS high schools in 10th-12th grade interested in hands-on learning through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are strongly encouraged to apply.
