By taking and completing 3 (or 4) courses within a pathway here at MHS, or GSCC, and earning an industry certification, a student is considered career ready and qualifies as CCR. This is a great way to qualify through already required elective coursework.

How does it work?
By carefully selecting your 7 required elective courses, in as little as 3 classes, a student can be considered a completer. In addition, our CTE department offers a number of industry certifications aligned with the selected pathway that further expands a students resume after graduation. These certifications and any required exams are built into the coursework. The courses, plus the certification, qualify a student as career ready and thus, CCR.
Your CTE teacher and counselor will discuss requests and recommendations to ensure you stay on track.
Every student who completes a CTE pathway receives a completer cord to wear with their graduation regalia. (In addition to the CCR medallion)
