Greenville County Schools uses the Performance Assessment For Teachers (PAS-T) as the model for our teacher evaluation. The PAS-T model is a South Carolina State Department-approved model of teacher evaluation and is a modified form of ADEPT. This model provides assurance that schools are staffed with competent professionals who possess the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the needs of all students.

South Carolina Certification Status

Important: The South Carolina Department of Education launched an enhanced educator certification system, SC Educator, on May 5, 2022.  

Educators must create an account and then submit certification applications, requests and supporting documents through the SC Educator Portal. The SCDE no longer accepts the Request for Change/Action form. You will submit requests through an electronic form in SC Educator. 

Documentation submitted by universities or employers can be submitted as attachments to this email box. 

Transcripts must still be sent directly to the SCDE at transcripts@ed.sc.gov by the college, university, or transcript delivery service.
