CLASS NAMING CONVENTIONS
When teachers create Trackers from the curriculum maps, they need to adhere to a consistent class descriptor (student data will “move” from site to site and from year to year). This consistency will help to troubleshoot at the school and administrative levels.
Please use this format for classes:
Middle School Tracker Description Format:
School Location #, Grade Level, Subject, Teacher Last Name, Class Period, Year
Example: 160 Grade 7 Math Smith P1 21-22 / 160 Grade 8 Algebra I Smith P4 21-22
High School Tracker Description Format:
School Location #, Subject, Teacher Last Name, Class Period, Semester, Year
Example: 003 Biology 1 Smith P1 Fall 21-22 / 003 Biology 1 Smith P2 Spring 21-22
When administering the assessment, the accommodations necessary for the student to access classroom tests should be provided. Supplementary aids, services, and other supports provided for students with disabilities in the classroom and other education-related settings on a regular basis should be used as appropriate.
Below are the reminder steps for getting students logged in.
1- Locate the benchmark in your tracker.
2- Hover over the name of the benchmark.
3- Click on the word Assess.
4- On the next screen click on Assess again.
5. Students log into https://student.masteryconnect.com/. Type in the test code and their student ID number.
6. When a student finishes, they click SUBMIT!
7. When a student needs the second day, they click PAUSE and then close the computer.
** If you have students that need the second day, I suggest generating a new test code at some point soon after that class leaves your room to prevent students from accessing the test anywhere else. **
