About ME

This will be my third year as an Instructional Coach but I have been an Educator for over twenty years. I am originally from Lynchburg, VA where I taught until I moved to Greenville when my husband got a new job in the area. I am mom to Timbre, 20 and Jeremiah, 16. We also have an 13 year old rescue dog named Elona.

I have a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Sweet Briar College, a Masters degree in Special Education from Lynchburg College, and received my School Administration certification through Gardner-Webb University. I love to read, watch television (not ashamed to admit it), and I love music (singing is my passion). I am so excited to get to work with the Alternative Program of GCS again this year! It is my firm belief that all children can learn and flourish if they have teachers willing to meet them where they are and believe in them. I feel blessed to have this opportunity to work with students and fellow Educators in this capacity. Here's to a great school year!!
