April 30 - L is for Lemonade! Are you team yellow or team pink? We tried both kinds of lemonade and made a graph with our favorite flavor!
April 29 K is for Kick and T is for Tug! We are learning about forces. Students built ramps from classroom materials to explore how forces affect motion. By experimenting with different angles and surfaces, they discovered how pushes, pulls, and friction change the way toy cars move.
April 23 - E is for Earth!
Happy Earth Day!

Mail continues to trickle in and we continue to find new places on our maps! Over the last few weeks we received mail from Hawaii, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Utah . We also recieved mail from Bahamas, Egypt, & Portugal! Thanks to Koins H., Mrs. Dryman, Mrs. Nye, Mrs. Waters & friends, Landon & Oliva, and Papaw & Ninny. We love learning about the places in our world! We even sampled some treats from Hawaii!
April 16 We had so much fun on our fieldtrip to Strawberry Hill! We learned about growing strawberries on the farm and how to pick a ripe strawberry. We took a tractor ride, picked strawberries from the vine, and took a nature walk to see the irrigation pond. We also enjoyed some yummy ice cream and play time on the playground! April 1 We had a blast with our Math & Phonics Egg-stravaganza outside! During the Egg-stravaganza, students solved math problems and sounded out words to discover which eggs they were searching for.
