October 31 - It has been a BUSY Halloween week here in Kindergarten! On Monday & Thursdsay we had Community Worker Visits. o Famoda farm. On Tuesday, students rotated through each K5 classroom for fun Halloween activities. Today was Halloween & we celebrated with a book character parade, Halloween books, & a special snack! October 22 - Pumpkin Fun!
We had fun working with pumpkins all day! We painted pumpkins and we explored the INSIDE of a pumpkin! Students selected the shapes for our pumpkin's eyes and nose, the number of teeth for the mouth, and the name.

Visitor Fun! - Last week we had a visit from the Tigerville Fire Department and learned all about fire safety. This week we had a visit from a pirate! He read a story and taught us a pirate jig!

October 10 - We’ve had so much fun learning about apples over the past two weeks! We explored apple parts, the apple life cycle, and different ways we can use apples. We even sampled apple slices, apple juice, apple cider, apple chips, apple candy, and apple cereal. Today, we used some of our apples to make delicious applesauce! October 3 - ABC Celebration
Our little stars have worked hard to learn about the Alphabet! Today they walked the red carpet proudly wearing their ABC vests. After our the ABC Fashion Show, students rotated through the Kindergarten classrooms and had a great time with alphabet games and activities to celebrate their learning journey.
