I am extremely excited to be working with your child this year in Kindergarten! I love watching children learn and grow throughout the year — it’s amazing how much they accomplish in Kindergarten!
I’d like to take a moment to share a little about myself. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from North Greenville University. I then completed my Master's of Education in Divergent Learning at Columbia College. This is my 22nd year teaching here at Mountain View. I taught K5 for eight years, spent one year teaching 1st grade, and then returned to Kindergarten.
Outside of school, I spend most of my time with my family. My husband Andrew and I have been married for 22 years. We have two children. Our son, Ayden, will be a freshman at Anderson University this fall and our daughter, Audrey, will be a 10th grader at Greer Middle College. Both of our children are Mountain View alumni! My family and I enjoy reading and playing games together. We are members of our church, where Andrew and I sing in the choir and our teens are involved in the youth department.
I look forward to working with you and your child this year! I am confident that, together, we can make this a wonderful and successful school year! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Email is the best way to reach me, as I check it a couple of times each day.
