About Mrs. Coleman

I am extremely excited to be working with your child this year in Kindergarten!  I love to watch children learn and grow throughout the year.  It is amazing how much they accomplish in Kindergarten! 

I want to take a moment to let you know a little bit more about me.  I completed my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at the nearby North Greenville University.  I then finished my Masters of Education in Divergent Learning at Columbia College.  This is my twentieth year teaching here at Mountain View.  I taught K5 for 8 years and then spent 1 year teaching 1st grade before moving back to Kindergarten.  

I spend most of my time outside of school with my family.  My husband Andrew and I have been married for 19 years.  We have 2 children. Our son, Ayden, is 15, and will  be a 10th grader at Greer Middle Charter High.  Our daughter, Audrey, is 12 and will be a 7th grader at Blue Ridge Middle!   They both attended and loved Mountain View too!  My family and I enjoy reading, singing, playing games together, and attending church. 

I look forward to working with you and your child this year!  I am confident that we can work together to make this a great school year despite any challenges we may face!
