Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year! I'm very glad to have you in my classroom!
If it becomes necessary to resume instruction through remote technology anytime during the school year, students must adhere to the following rules.
1. Login only during your assigned class period. Once you have logged into your class, please wait patiently until your teacher opens the meeting.
2. Be on time. Students not on time will be recorded as tardy, and students who miss more than 20 minutes of the class time will counted as absent. This is school policy.
3. Dress appropriately.
4. Refrain from eating while online.
Please note that the teacher will block the video and/or audio of any student exhibiting inappropriate behavior and/or sounds, and will forward a written disciplinary report to the disciplinary officer for appropriate disposition and action.
The login process is fairly simple.
1. Login into the GISD website. Use your assigned User ID and Password.
2. Go to Google Classroom. This can be found under "Student Links"
3. Go to and click on your class period.
4. Click on the link provided there.
5. Click on "Join Now"
Please note the following:
1. The student is required to leave the meeting when the teacher closes the meeting.
2. Daily attendance will be recorded.
