SENIORS
GOALS & ACTION ITEMS:
FOR 12TH GRADE
Welcome to your senior year! All of the hard work you’ve put in is about to start paying off as you assemble and submit your applications. We’re excited to be here to help you through both the good times and the stress. Here’s what you can expect along the way.
Similar to junior year, we know there's a lot to juggle! Take a look at our detailed, month-by-month timeline, as well as our tasks and key terms.
The document above offers priorities with extensive links and resources for seniors by month.
This document above offers an overview of the college process, with information about financial aid, EA/ED/REA/etc. deadlines, essays, and more.
College Rep Visit Guidelines:
We've put together detailed guidelines for students on attending visits -- please review them! (They should answer the majority of questions you have.)
To view a calendar of upcoming visits, go to the Events & Deadlines page on SCOIR after logging into your account.
To attend a visit (which will be held in the College Counseling office), you must register via SCOIR at least 48 hours in advance (but ideally sooner!).
IMPORTANT: If a visit interferes with one of your classes, you must request permission from your teacher using this form by the class meeting before the visit.
Printed copies of this approval form live in the black bins right outside the College Counseling Center. Bring completed forms with you to the start of a visit.
Slides summarizing these key points are available here.
