The Great Letter Games is a literacy-based team competition that pits teams of (3-5) middle school students against their peers from across Green Dot’s network. The competition is broken down into three challenges.

Rainbow Initiative Punk Rock Movie Night - Friday March 13, 2026
Expanded Learning students will come together to enjoy a punk motion picture and learn about Punk core themes and ethos, style and aesthetic, and music and performance. The event serves as a precursor to this year’s Rainbow Initiative Punk Rock Pride Prom. It will be a rockin’ fun evening of community, live music (by our Ánimo Venice rock band) and punk cinema.
7th Annual High School Knowledge Bowl -
Saturday March 21, 2026
The Knowledge Bowl is a STEAM-based team competition that pits teams of (4-8) high school students against their peers from across Green Dot’s network. The competition is broken down into four challenges.
This year's theme is the Power of Resistance.

Scoring: The top three teams in each challenge will receive gold, silver and bronze medals. If a team gets gold in all four challenges they take home the Knowledge Bowl trophy.
