Grants Pass High School Student Digital Newspaper - The November 2024 Issue
In this Issue of The Scroll: AI's Taking Over!, Choir Concert, Results of City of Grants Pass V. Johnson, The Play That Goes Wrong, GP V Panthers Football Victory, Turkey Hunt, Polls and so much more!
Hello and welcome back to our newest issue of The Scroll. Even though there are a lot of no-school days in November, that does not mean it isn't a busy month. At Grants Pass High School, the final football game before the playoff season takes place on Nov 1. The Play That Goes Wrong will be performed in the PAC from Nov. 8-17. The Harvest Ball is on Nov. 23, and winter sports begin on Nov. 17. Outside of school, election day in the United States will commence on Nov. 5. Daylight savings will end on Nov 3. Lastly, Thanksgiving is on Nov. 28.
The Scrollians have decided to make this month's issue pink as a way to cope with the cold that has consumed Grants Pass. For readers that still want to feel a chill, check out Peter Easterwood's "A.I.'s Taking Over". For those that took the "Best Halloween Movies" poll, check out the results here.
It is contest time here at The Scroll. Turkeys have taken over! If you can find them all, then click here. The first three people to successfully locate all of the turkeys will be given a prize and a shout out in next month's issue of The Scroll. Creative writers, this is the month for you! The runner of "Creative Corner", Averie Black, is holding a short story and poem contest. Winners will receive a notebook. For more information on both of these, look to the section below.
Enjoy your time here and...

The Hunt is on! Hidden all over this issue of The Scroll are turkeys. If you are able to find all seven of them, then head over to this link or go to "Scroll Polls". The first three people to properly locate every turkey will be given a shout-out in next month's issue of The Scroll.
Calling all creative writers, "Creative Corner" is holding a contest. Email your best short story or poem to Averie Black (a.black@d7apps.gp.k12.or.us) for the chance of winning a notebook.
