Grants Pass High School Student Digital Newspaper - The April 2025 Issue
Welcome back from spring break! We here at The Scroll have been concocting a special issue for this April: it's the bomb! Our fascinating articles "Celebrate the Equinox" by Dani Porterfield and "Declining Whale Populations" by Regan Snyder will blow your mind. Be sure to check out this month's Ask Blair column and the freshly revived Good News column.
The city of Grants Pass is big on the map this month! Barnstormers is performing Lost and Found in IKEA on Apr. 5 and 6. The Josephine County Historical Society is hosting an Easter egg hunt on Apr. 12 at the Schmidt House Museum. Vista 222 is hosting its fourth annual egg hunt on Easter day, Apr. 20, with a variety of games, music, and festive activities. Additionally, on the second and fourth Wed. of every month, the Together in Grief club meets at the Josephine Community Senior Center to discuss anything that may be troubling its members.
Big events are happening this month at GPHS. Prom is on Apr. 26. Boys Volleyball has a game on Apr. 14 and the Girls Track Distance Prelims are on Apr. 28. The choir also goes to districts this month. Make sure you are listening to announcements and showing up to events!
