Game Development Fundamentals

This creative Game Design course introduces students to the fundamentals of creating interactive 2D and 3D games using Unity and GDevelop. Students design and build original games while learning character creation, animation, level design, background art, textures, and basic game logic, including online game elements. Through hands-on, project-based work, the class emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, playtesting, and iterative design to develop engaging game experiences.

This is a creative class, if you like making things you will like this class.
This is a beginner class, you do not need to know anything before starting, just come with an open mind!
This is not a programming class, it is more like a design class where we make art and levels for real games.
What are three things a student will do or make?You will learn how to make 2d pixel art that will be used in a 2d game, this will be a real online game that friends and family can play online.
You will learn how to make 3d games like first person games, 3d platformers and racing games.
We also play games and discuss them in class.
3D Animation

This creative 3D Animation course introduces students to professional animation techniques used in games and films, drawing inspiration from Pixar-style storytelling and real-time game animation.
