Winter is here?

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Fall Concert Cycle and Marching Season a success!  This week officially begins our Winter Concert Cycle.  It does feel a bit early to call it "winter" but here we are.  This concert cycle is definitely our least busy of the year.  

Winter Concert Cycle Calendar Highlights

• November 7 - Bucks Pep Band

• November 14 - Fall Jazz Concert

• November 30 - Christmas Parade

• December 3 - First Basketball Pep Band

• December 12 - Winter Band Concert

• December 13 - JLMS Night Pep Band(details to come)

Playoffs?!?!

We have a playoff football game tomorrow! If we win(we will), we will have another home game next Friday(11/1).  If we win that game, we will have yet another home game on 11/8.  If we manage to win past there, we would travel to the game, obviously TBD.  All call times for home playoff games will be @ 6:15.

Bucks Game - November 7

We will meet at GHS in the band room at 3:45.  The bus will depart between 4:00 and 4:15 for the Fiserv Forum.  

Bucks Tickets Ready for Pickup

The tickets are ready for pickup.  As a reminder, I will hold onto all student tickets so all ticket bundles will exclude those tickets.  

Jazz I Performance at Kapco Kids2Kids Event

Jazz I will be performing at the Kapco Kids2Kids Drive on December 7 from 4:00-4:30pm.  

NEW JLMS NIGHT

The 8th grade band will be joining us for a basketball pep band on December 13.  The evening will include pizza, section vs section games, and a short rehearsal before the game.  More details to come in November.

Winter Concert Sneak Peek

For their choice piece, Concert Band picked Selections from The Greatest Showman arr. P Murtha.  For their choice piece, Wind Ensemble chose Man of La Mancha arr. J Williams.  Wind Ensemble's set will also feature the return of Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson.  Any alumni that would like to join us on stage for Sleigh Ride should reach out to Mr. Brown.
