Happy New Year!

As we enter 2025 I want to thank everyone for making 2024 one of the best years for this program.  We have grown so much in the last couple years, especially 2024 and we couldn't have done it without all of you.

Winter Concert Cycle Calendar Highlights

• January 6 - GHS Experience

Family/Alumni Night

Family/Alumni Night is back! Next Thursday, January 16th the Black Hawks take on Cedarburg and we want you to help us rock The Nest!  Sign up here: https://forms.gle/hjMy5or1Y7hSChHs6.  We'll meet in the GHS Band room at 6:00, briefly rehearse and then play starting around 6:45.  Music will be sent out to those who sign up by Friday the 10th.

Pit Auditions

Pit Auditions will be held over 2 days after school on January 27th and 28th.  Music and more details will be send to auditionees by Friday the 10th.

Sun Prairie Jazz Fest

Sun Prairie Jazz Fest is February 15th.  As of 1/6 I don't have an official schedule but we typically depart around 7:00am, perform in the morning for clinicians(performance is open to public), lunch is provided, students will attend masterclasses in the afternoon and then we will be performing in the evening concert.  Dinner will be at student's expense.  We'll be eating in the same area we did last year with Jersey Mike's, Noodles, Mac's, and similar.

Solo & Ensemble Festival

We host the District Festival this year.  Stay tuned for more info for volunteers/scheduling.

A change for this year is that all members of Wind Ensemble are required to perform something at the Festial
