12TH Grade year

1. College application in Texas: use  ApplyTexas( know your college deadlines)   

2. Apply to college outside Texas  Common App | Your future starts here

3. FAFSA/Apply for Financial Aid

   1. • once complete, upload proof of completion to this link 

      • FASFA/TASFA Completion proof notice 

4.  TASFA/Texas Application for Student Aid  if don’t have a SS # but a resident of Texas apply

5. Request Recommendation letters for scholarships or colleges

6. Apply for scholarships 2022-2023 GPISD Scholarship Calendar

7. Retake  ACT or SAT  before December in 12th grade year-see below to register. The test are taken for scholarship opportunities and placement into college classes. Post-COVID the test are not considered mandatory. 

8. WAIVER request may pay fees related to ACT/SAT/Application Fee

9. Transcript Request is to request an official transcript get sent to your school of choice 

10. Narrow down your schools of choice 

11. Shots- must have recent meningococcal vaccine

*When registering for ACT/SAT, add the colleges of choice so they receive your scores

*Multiple test attempts will give you a super score, best of the scores for overall ACT /SAT
