7th Grade Reflection

Isaac Martinez: My second year of Middle School

Throughout this year which was my seventh grade year, I have learned many things. Some being how to balance and use my time when it comes to schoolwork. Because things did get harder as I progressed the grades and it won't stop here. Though not everything was tough and all, sometimes there would be fun work or activities for school to do. Which I hope could be better for my eighth grade year, due to the virus still going on. Not only keeping me, but everyone else in their homes most of the time. Leaving not much room to explore other hobbies and interests I could enjoy. As of right now, all I have is my backyard, house and driving to pick up orders from stores or online shopping.

During this past year I've thought about what I could do differently and found out what. To not second guess myself a lot, because everytime I would choose an answer on schoolwork I second guess and end up with the wrong answer. After seeing the correct one I had them right, which is what I changed and now I only second guess if i'm really unsure of an answer. Other things with school online and the virus did change many things from when it had first started. Like socializing and other outside the house activities.

Besides school though I've learned how to be more patient because some things go a little more slowly in these times which require patience. Plus how to be safer right now, taking my vitamins and going outside for Vitamin D. Since I don't have many places to go besides my backyard sunlight. I'm just hoping for a more regular year, being my last year of Middle School coming up in a few months. Due to the Corona Virus impacting lives heavily and how we do our usual activities on the daily.
