At the beginning of the school year, I set several personal and academic goals to improve myself and stay focused. One of these goals was to improve and maintain high grades in all my classes. I knew this would require consistent effort, so I tried to finish all my work before the due date to avoid problems later on. I stayed on top of assignments by checking Skyward. Whenever I didn't understand something I tried my best to ask the teacher for help. I also dedicated time to finish projects fast. I made school a priority by limiting distractions during school and homework time. There were times I struggled but I managed to push through and stayed focused on my goal. As the year is about to get to an end, my hard work has paid off. Achieving this goal gave me more confidence and showed me what I am capable of. This will help me as I move on to 8th grade.
