Global Awareness

These events completely changed the way I see the world. I used to take a lot of things for granted, but seeing the damage from Hurricane Beryl made me realize how fragile everything is. It showed me that the world can change in the matter of minutes, and how important it is to protect what we have. I saw the power of the people coming together, which made me believe more in the strength of communities and how important it is to help each other. I also saw that there was many nearby neighbors that lost most of their things and made me realize that you should be thankful for everything you have.
